I'm a Computer Engineer looking for a position in software development. I have experience developing software on multiple operating systems with a focus on Linux with Python and the GTK+ toolkit. I mostly work with desktop applications, but have recently begun working with Django to develop web applications, as well as mobile applications on Android.

Worked with a team of developers to create software for Linux based thin-client systems. Used a combination of C and C++ as well as the GTK+ and Glib toolkits. Built a virtual test environment using VMware’s virtualization tools as well as an automated test script in Python.

Created an employee tracking system as part of a Senior project. Allowed a user to search for remote employees in an area that meet certain criteria. Included mobile applications for Android, Blackberry, and iOS. The web application was built using Django and hosted on Linux and Amazon EC2.

An independent open source project to allow for rapid capturing, uploading, and sharing of screenshots. Written for Linux using Python and GTK.

Deluge Bittorrent Client

Founded and lead an open source project to create an open source bittorrent client written in Python using the PyGTK toolkit. Collaborated with a team of developers around the world. Supported Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X operating systems.
